Only athletes, coaches,
hired photographers, and race officials will be allowed on the course. Please
respect
this request for the
safety of our athletes. During the Super-G training run and race, once the
forerunners are
in the gate, there will be
no movement on the hill.
Tuning and Waxing:
Tuning and waxing
facilities will be offered in the tuning rooms at the Stratton
Mountain School
athletic
building. Athletes must be
accompanied by a coach or parent. Please sweep up after tuning and waxing.
Mountain Etiquette and
Athlete Code of Conduct
As noted in your USSA
Competition Guide, while either on the hill or in the lodge, all athletes must
maintain
high standards of moral
and ethical conduct, which includes self-control and responsible behavior,
consideration for, the
physical and emotional well being of others, and courtesy and good manners.
Racers
also need to allow enough
time to make it to the top for their start position—no lift-line cutting will
be
permitted by the resort.
Safety Fence Removal after
Super G:
At the close of the Super
G Race on Tuesday, 3/05/04, all athletes and coaches are asked to help remove
the
safety fence from Upper
Standard Thanks in advance for your help!
Coaches Tickets:
Consistent with USSA
policies, the rule for complimentary coach tickets is as follows: All athletes
are
entitled to representation
by a coach from their home program. If a program would like to have two coaches
they must have more than 4
athletes, more than 8 athletes for 3, more than 12 for four, etc.
