Race date: February 7 - 8, 2009
Location: Lapland Lake, Johnstown/Gloversville, NY

Saturday afternoon: 1.5k
skate sprint race, individual starts (30 second interval) - men then
women
Sprint finals will follow Regionals/Nationals format - top 10 in brackets
Following sprint race will be a co-ed 3 person sprint relay (each person
will go twice, can mix schools if needed)
Sunday morning: 10k
classical race, women at 9am, men at 9:30am - start format TBD.
Costs: $12 per racer per day ($15 for non-USCSA racers). Make checks out to: ECSC Nordic. Receipts will be available.

Other nearby options: reasonable lodging in Johnstown where there is also a
strip of affordable eateries (Applebee's, Romana's - a great family-run and
very reasonable Italian eatery, Friendly's etc). There is a Super 8 Motel
that offers a special Lapland Lake discount of $45/room and a new Microtel -
the manager Nate, said he can offer a double occupancy rate of $66.60 per
room. The Super 8 would be the best rate at $22.50 + tax per person, and
it's a bit closer than the Microtel.
