SHPE is a professional society dedicated to the improvement quality of Hispanic professionals. At WPI, SHPE encompasses professional growth and career development. SHPE strives to prepare WPI students and equip them with tools to acclimate for the real world.
"SHPE has really had an impact on my life. I'm so very grateful that I
joined such a fabulous, talented and intelligent community of Latino
professionals. SHPE expands way further than the WPI campus, it's all around the
U.S. It has proven to be a very useful organization to me throughout my time on
campus. Both of my internships in college have been through SHPE conferences and connections. I definitely plan on being involved in SHPE throughout my
professional career. I have received much from SHPE. I can't wait to eventually
give back to the Latino community wherever I may be in the future." -
