system to be employed in the production of Safety

planning, inventories, financial analyzis, etc.
CS-525 TOPICS: AI IN ENGINEERING DESIGN
This course particularly deals with the review of
milestones and research issues in knowledge-based
design and engineering systems. Among others, the
following topics are reviewed: Object configuration-
synthesis, Conceptual assembly, Redesign,
Hierarchycaly guided design, Constraint evaluation-
analyzis, Static/Dynamic constraint satisfaction,
Case-Based Design (Analogy), Artifact and Domain
Model-Based compilation, Multiagent negotiated
design, Functional reasoning.
CE-584 ADVANCED CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATING
The course objective is to review the current tools
for performing estimating. An overview of Order of
Magnitude, Conceptual, and Detailed estimates is
presented. Also covering appraissals, economic
analyzis, bidding proccesses, planning and control
processes, etc.
