I am providing a Practice Exam to help you study for exam 4. Please note that this is NOT intended to be your principal study aid in preparing for the exam. By giving you these problems, I am not suggesting that your exam will look similar to this, or contain similar problems. However, these problems will help you to learn the material, and the more practice problems you do, the better. I'd recommend that you try lots of other problems as well, especially the "suggested problems" that are indicated in the study guide. Solutions will be provided here Thursday afternoon. In the meantime, you should try the problems and attend conference on Thursday to discuss any questions you have.
Here are the solutions to the practice exam. It is recommended that you not look at the solutions until you have given the problems an honest try.
There will be eight laboratory experiments this term. It is a course requirement that these experiments be successfully completed. The first experiment will be on Wednesday Mar. 25 for all sections (1-5). Please note that CREDIT IS NOT BEING GIVEN FOR LABS DONE IN PREVIOUS TERMS. You will need to attend labs and turn in new worksheets even if you have done the labs in a previous term.
The schedule for the labs is posted in the entry way to OH107, and also outside the lab room. You do not need to come to the lab when you do not have an experiment scheduled. Complete laboratory information can be found at the LABORATORY HOME PAGE
