INFORMATION REGARDING THE TEXT BOOK.............The course reading material is based on my lecture notes that are not associated with any text book. If you want a Text book that covers some of the material, use "Microelectronic Circuits by Sedra and Smith", 6th, 7th ed. etc, ISBN 978-0195323030 or an older version that you used in ECE-2201. So you do not have to purchase another book since I could not find an appropriate book still in print, that covers most of the material needed in this course.
All the Notes, Homework and Labs on the site are copywrited.
TO ACCESS THE DEPARTMENT PC'S AND THE MULTISIM SOFTWARE, YOU NEED AN ACTIVE CCC ACCOUNT.....
IMPORTANT please PRINT your NAME on all HOMEWORK and LABs and submit them to CANVAS.
NO LABS ARE HELD THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASS !
The first lab will start on November 2nd.

General Class Information
Grading Percentages, all five Labs total 20% of final grade. YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL LABS TO PASS THE COURSE !
Homework Percentage, for homework assignments total 20% of the final grade.
If you fail to turn in a homework assignment your exam percentage will be increased.
Exams Percentage, all 3 exams total total 60% of final grade provided all home work assignments are turned in.
If all homework assignments are not turned in the exam percentage will be higher than 60%. If no assignments are turned in it will be 80% of final grade.
If you miss an exam please see me about a day and time for a make-up exam. The make-up will be different from the original!
Below are my own personal class notes that are arranged by topic. Multiple topics are covered in each lecture.
To answer the question of what topics would be covered in the three class exams would be to study the topics covered in the homework ! The homework are my own personal problems, not from the books, so they are based on what I feel you should know and getting out of this class. Hence the homework is important !
TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR HOMEWORK AND EXAMS ALL WORK NEEDED TO CALCULATE EACH PROBLEM MUST ACCOMPANY YOUR ANSWERS. NO CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANSWERS WITHOUT THE WORK TO OBTAIN THEM !
Reading assignments if my notes are not sufficient to understand the material (that best match the Class Notes in 6th edition), are below. Please note, probably a good part of the material in my course, is not covered in the book !
