TAs and PLAs :

Laboratories : The schedule TBA. Six laboratory meetings are scheduled. Each Maple lab meeting will require you to work in pairs and will conclude with a brief written report that will be graded. Attendance at all sessions is required. There are no make ups for labs however you can attend another session of the same week if you contact your lab instruction in advance (a week in advance at least).

Textbook: Hass/Heil/Weir Thomas's CALCULUS 14th Edition, Early Transcendentals, Person. Available as hard text, loose leaf or as an online e-text. "MyMathLab" will not be used in this course. Course Description : This course is an introduction to multivariate calculus. The aim is to come up with natural generalizations in various coordinate systems of the concepts you have learned in single-variable calculus. We consider limits, partial derivatives and multiple integrals and their applications. We examine vector-values functions as well as functions of several variables.

Course Goals :

Grades : A: 100% - 90%, B: 89% - 80%, C: 79% - 70%

Grading Scheme: The final grade can be affected by factors such as attendance, participation, effort and progress. The following ingredients determine the final grade:

There will be no make-up quizzes, final, or labs, and late homework will not be accepted after the final deadline. Zero grade will be recorded for all missed work.
