Hello! I'm Maya, a student in the class of 2023 at Mass Academy. Before coming to MAMS, I went to Westborough High School. I was born in New York, where I lived for two years before moving to South Carolina, where I stayed for eight years. Then, I moved to Westborough, MA in the summer of 2019. I live with my mom, dad, and younger brother.

I love to draw! It’s one of my favorite activities to do, and I’ll often end up drawing for a whole day. I mainly do digital art on my iPad, but I have taken lessons in acrylic painting and pencil sketching as well. I’m heavily inspired by the various anime (Japanese cartoons) that I’ve watched, as well as multiple artists I follow on social media. I love designing original characters and coming up with stories for them. One day, I’d like to make a comic or animation about them.
