Writing Your Own Home Page

The following list of resources will help you set up your personal WWW directory, and provide informatiion on how to write your own documents in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), the language used for WWW documents.

  1. The Campus Community page of the WPI WWW server has links to Creating web pages at WPI and Help with HTML. The link to creating web pages at WPI will help you set up your personal WWW directory
  2. A basic reference on writing HTML is the Beginner's Guide to HTML
  3. This HTML TUTORIAL will take you step-by-step through the basics of writing HTML
  4. Once you've learned a little about writing HTML, the HTML Quick Reference is useful

Using the WWW for Courses

This is one area where use of the WWW is rapidly expanding. The following links lead to some examples, both here at WPI and at other schools.
