Mass Academy physics is taught by Mr. Ellis. Throughout the course, we cover topics aligned with the AP Physics curriculum in both calculus and algebra. We started the year learning kinematics, including displacement, velocity, and acceleration. We are currently covering rotational concepts.
Our first Uber problem was on the kinematics unit, in which we had to move through the problem step-by-step in order to solve for a final variable. However, the most challenging part of the problem is to write it up in an understandable and conclusive way.
Our second Uber problem was on the forces unit and primarily focused on pulleys. What is special in physics is that as we progress through the year we accumulate the topics we have learned so far into the new problems. For example, this uber problem not only covers pulleys but also includes kinematics concepts.
