About Me

My name is Kiara Lavana and I am currently 16 years old at the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science at WPI. I have grown up in Massachusetts my whole life, living with my parents, brother, twin sister, and grandparents. My interests include a wide range of activities; I love science and learning more about the world, which is why I decided to further my exposure to different types of scientific learning at MAMS. I also enjoy reading, writing, dancing, playing field hockey, and swimming. Most of all, I love trying new things, because in my opinion, new experiences have the capability of surprising me and can turn into my new favorite activity.
