I attended the Frontiers Program at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. It’s a two-week summer program for any high school junior interested in Math and Science. You can take courses such as engineering, math, biology, physics, chemistry, or computer science. It's very educational and a lot of fun. I took the math course and we worked on this project for two weeks. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to pursue a degree in a math or science.

I learned a lot about how our world communicates, using cryptography, sound, satellites, and fractals. We transmitted data through image, sound, and encryption. We researched geosynchronous orbits, and where the best places to put satellites are. I didn’t know much about any of this, in fact, I hadn't really even heard about it. I had no idea that all of this involved so much mathematics.
