Saturday, next Sunday — Gloucester Grand Prix of Cyclo-cross 1 and 2. Stage Fort Park, Gloucester. Races No. 1, 2 in the Verge New England Championship Cyclo-cross Series. Information: necyclocross.com.

11 a.m. next Sunday — Quaboag Plantation Bicycle History Tour. Meet at North Brookfield Apple Orchards. Registration is 10-11 a.m. and the ride leaves at 11. Cost: $10. Information: Keith LaRose, (413) 436-7063.

9:30 a.m. Oct. 20 — Seven Hills Wheelmen 40-mile bike ride. Meet at Paxton Center School, Route 31, Paxton. Information: (508) 831-0301; sevenhillswheelmen.org.

12:30 p.m. Oct. 20 — Seven Hills Wheelmen 25-mile bike ride. Meet at Route 31 and Mill Street, Holden, for a ride to the summit of Mount Wachusett. Information: (508) 831-0301; sevenhillswheelmen.org.

9 a.m. Oct. 21 — Sixth annual Jackson Ride. The ride, presented by Team Bike Alley, benefits the Thomas Gengel Fund. There are 16-, 32- and 62-mile options. The 62-mile route, the Wachusett Metric Century, includes climbing Mount Wachusett. Meet at the Grove Street soccer fields across from Anna Maria College in Paxton. Oct. 28 — Wicked Ride of the East. Harold Parker State Forest, North Andover. The last event in the Kona Bicycles-Kenda Mountain Bike Adventure Series, presented by the New England Mountain Bike Association. Mountain bike festival features rides, women’s skills clinic.
