Over the past few weeks we have studied the Periodic Table of Elements.
You have looked at the organization of this table in many ways including
spiral, long form and standard. The information you can derive and the
predictions we can make from this table will be the basis for our study of
Chemistry. In fact it was the first thing distributed to you because of
its importance. Many people find its development and versaltility the key
to all of Chemistry. Some chemists say "if you truly understand the
Periodic Table, you understand all of Chemistry". As an individual
project, please explain the this reference that allows scientists to view
such a simple table as such a valuable tool.

It Matters
Throughout the past few weeks we have been exploring the various states of
matter, how they are structured and how they react. This essay is to
explain matter's forms. Be sure to include how gases respond to a change
in conditions, how solids are structured as well as all molecules, how
liquids are affected by the colloidal properties of solutes and how the
kinetic theory of matter relates all states of matter as well as any other
pertinent information you feel is important.
This essay is meant
to help you correlate and organize what we covered as well as convince me
that you
understand some of the important ideas of matter. Please limit this to
four double spaced word processed pages.
