In humanities, our first unit analyzed the importance of AI integration in education systems in the future. For our first essay of the year, we were expected to write a synthesis essay on AI and its impact in real life. My essay mainly focused on arguing that young students should develop independence from AI, learning how to problem solve without the help of technology. As people grow up and subjects become more difficult, AI can be integrated to assist in tedious tasks or brainstorming.

Our next essay was during our satire unit. I chose to analyze one satirical document and one serious. My topic argued that when discussing procrastination habits, satirical arguements resonate with readers on a deeper level than serious ones, impacting the reader more directly and therefore having a larger impact on the way the reader may feel.
