IQP: Strengthening the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania's Relationship with Startups

This project synthesized strategies for the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania to strengthen Romania’s startup community. Interviewing nine startups in the United States and Romania identified networking as a major contributing factor to a startup’s success in both countries, and that startups in Romania struggle developing strong networks. A case study revealed this was because Romania has a smaller and less well-connected startup community. Through observational research and interviews with US startup communities, we determined strategies these support structures (e.g., accelerators, incubators, and workspaces) use to lower the barrier of entry for startups. We created an infographic and resource guide describing how these strategies could benefit the Romanian startup community. IQP Report

ENV 1500: Expanding Access to Fiber-optic Internet in Massachusetts

As the world continues to become more technologically dependent, it becomes more important for people to be able to have access to high-speed internet; however, despite this importance, there are many places that lack high-speed internet—including in Massachusetts. For this project, I estimated the best way to expand internet infrastructure to maximize the number of people who would benefit while minimizing cost. Project Website 2/3/2022 - 3/5/2022

CS 3041/HU 3910: XING - Note Taking Application

For my Human-Computer Interaction and Writing for the Web courses, I built a note taking application (which I then expanded on in my free time) that allows users to create accounts, record private notes (stored in a database), edit notes, merge notes, and search for notes. The project's website allows users to find information about the application including FAQs. Read more on my website
