- If webpage is off the WPIWA club server, a link must be listed on the 1YK Contest Website
- The webpage should include, but not required or limited to, the following weekly information: Total number of contacts, Total hours worked, Total number of multipliers, etc
- Weekly listing of all your contacts call signs = 1
- Weekly estimated calculation (±10%) of score = 1

You do not have to use the W1YK call sign or equipment
- Anyone with HF privileges is recommended to use their own call sign.
- If applicable, you should use your own call sign on VHF and UHF

Contacts made during official W1YK contests cannot be counted towards this
contest
- i.e. any contacts made during November Sweeps cannot count towards this contest

This will be a multi-operator contest; the teams will be groups of 2.

Please keep the teams “FAIR”
- i.e. Isaac and Jeff should not be paired together
- The idea is that older more experiences members will team up with the new less experienced members.
- Each team may only transmit one signal at a time
- Both team members must be present for all contacts

- No repeater or cross band contacts can count
- Contact with other club members , except alumni, does not count, unless they and/or you are outside Worcester County
- You cannot work the same station more than once, with any call sign, within 48hrs on the same band

Contacts must be properly logged in the specified electronic format made for
this contest
- Any contacts made using the W1YK call sign must be logged in the stations master log book as well as your contest log
- If using another stations call sign, follow that station’s guidelines for logging

- All ARRL DX rules apply unless they are specifically contradicted below
- No band change rules apply
- You cannot work the same station more than once, with any call sign, within 24hrs on the same band
- Contacts to US States including Hawaii and Alaska DO NOT count. All other locations are valid contacts, i.e. US Territories are valid
- CW contacts are not permitted. Voice only
- Marine stations count as 2pts
- Worked all continents (except Antarctica) is a multiplier of 2
- Working Antarctica is a multiplier of 5
