On January 3, WPI replaced the users server with a new server which was supposed to "improve web server functionality." There is a long standing love-hate (but mostly hate) relationship with the UNIX System Administrators and PHP. Citing security issues, PHP is no longer available on this server.
This Web site relied on PHP for both the blog, No Thought Involved, and The WPI Acronym Dictionary.
The WPI Acronym Dictionary
The Dictionary, which relied heavily on PHP, will remain on the users
server, and then migrate to my alum web space. The Dictionary will be
rewritten utilizing CGI.
UPDATE - The Dictionary's
contents are being displayed for reference. Sorry it's not
pretty.
No Thought Involved
This portion of the Web site (and all personal portions) will be moved
to a new home on another server outside of WPI. This is in anticipation of
graduating. The new server just prompted the move to be five months
earlier. Again, thank you for endulging me with your
patience. Personal portions of the site are still
here on the users server and will be moved after
commencement.
