VOX Presents: Into The Woods
VOX, WPI's Musical Theatre Organization, in association with the WPI Department of Humanities and Arts proudly presents Into The Woods.
Into the Woods intertwines the familiar stories Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, and Cinderella with the story of a Baker and his wife, and what really happens after you get your wish and are supposed to live "Happily Ever After".
Into the Woods features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Lapine. The show includes numbers such as "I Know Things Now", "No One Is Alone", "Giants in the Sky" and "Children Will Listen" among others.
The show will be held in the Great Hall of Alden Memorial on campus and features many members of the WPI Community. The show will be directed by WPI Instructor Kristy Chambrelli. Performances will be held Thursday, September 22 through Saturday, September 24.
