Little Theatre
Wondering how to find the Little Theatre?
At the end of the seventeenth century, Massachusetts found itself caught in the grip of fear and suspicion. Over the course of human history, there have been many such incidents, but the term "witch hunt" was truly crystallized by the Salem Witch Trials of 1692. Over 150 people were prosecuted on charges of witchcraft, and twenty-six were sentenced to death.
Arthur Miller’s The Crucible is based on the real story of John Proctor, a Salem farmer who suddenly finds himself caught in the midst of the most tragic and pivotal moments at the turn of the century, which lead to the Salem Witch Trials themselves. The Crucible is one of Arthur Miller’s most well-known and well-respected works.
