The Little Theatre

Wondering how to find the Little Theatre?

A small Norwegian town beginning to win fame and wealth through its medicinal spring waters, is split due to Dr. Stockmann, the town's resident physician, reporting that the waters are poisoned. When Dr. Stockmann reports his findings to the press, he is shocked to find that instead of being thanked, he is seen as a dangerous man who only seeks to ruin the town. Although the newspaper tries to keep the utmost secrecy and compromise, Dr. Stockmann realizes that the truth must prevail in order to save the town. However through saying the truth, the press will not report his findings; the town officials refuse to give him a hearing; he loses his position and the townspeople boycott him; and every weapon of blackmail, slander, and eviction are brought against his family. At the end, the town gathers around the doctor's home and the family is thrown into a state of peril.
