This may be a Math and Science school, but that doesn't mean there's no focus on the more liberal arts. Humanities is the class which fills the role of both a History and an English class. We started off the year writing a play based off of our summer reading book, "Walden", by Henry David Thoreau. These were then performed at Briarwood. After this we dove into History covering the Ancient Civilizations and writing an essay based off of the relationships found in the sixth book of the Iliad. As we go through the year we will continue to read the Humanities book, learning and investigating the history of Human culture.
