Our solar system contains eight planets. Of these, the four that orbit furthest from the side are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. These four planets are very large and massive compared to the four inner planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars). In addition, they are gaseous rather than rocky.
