"Okay, he either said, "move to the back of the throat," or he "wants a root beer float"." ~Dory (Finding Nemo)
"Blue flower, red thorns. Blue flower, red thorns. Blue flower, red thorns. Man, this would be so much easier if I wasn't COLOR-BLIND!" ~Donkey (Shrek)
Hey, everybody. My name is Susmitha Saripalli and this is my Mass Academy website. If you haven't guessed yet, I am currently a junior at the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science. Next year, I'm going to be a high school senior and a college freshman at the same time. After being the lower classmen for 5 years (knowing I'm going to be a lower classman next year too), senior year in college is going to be such a relief. I live in Franklin (which is about 45 minutes away) but it's worth the car ride. I have a slight obsession with Disney movies and I really wish I had a dog (who I want to name Moose). I dance a lot. Recently I've been having 8 hour dance practices every Sunday for a performance coming up on Oct 30th. It's pretty amazing here. The people and the classes we have are so much fun and the opportunities we are given are very exciting. (The only thing I could do without: the DRAMA.)
The work here is challenging and my life got exponentially more complicated, well not that I really have a life anymore anyways. Still, I wouldn't trade it for anything (yet) and I would definitelys recommend it to anybody who's interested in Math, Science, Engineering, Programming, and Technology. It has such a good vibe when you walk in the door every morning. The only downside to walking in the doors every morning is that it is freezing cold in almost all our classrooms. I have to dress really warm, even when it's super hot outside. Below is a really old picture of me with a couple of my middle school friends on our trip to Washington DC. I am the one with the camera and the girl on my right (left in the picture) is my best friend Demi and I miss her very much.
