Society of Physics Students

About the SPS

We are the WPI Chapter of the Society of Physics Students. As such, we love physics! Throughout the year, we will setup demonstrations and experiments that demonstrate the world around us and just how it works, or ones that are just wicked cool. Sometimes we will go into the back of Olin Hall and play with the physics toys, sometimes we will watch YouTube video demonstrations or talks, and sometimes we will make Liquid Nitrogen ice cream. What we do varies from week to week, term to term.

These events are open to anyone, not just physics students. Although many of our members are Physics majors, there are some who are not, including our current webmaster. As such, no matter your walk of life, feel free to pop in whenever we have an event. The listings for the upcoming week are here, with info on the entire term present on our Meetings page. Feel free to poke around the site, and we hope to see you soon!
