WPI SFS - The WPI Science Fiction Society Defending the galaxy since 1974

April 18, 2007 - Meeting Minutes Omg!

This week, in the new and exciting, chronologically ordered, "So Incompetent That There's No Theme To The Minutes"-Imposter-genda:

Weekly Events:

Wednesday Babylon 5 ran, except Ny's a slacker or something so Wixon was in charge.

Friday Gaming will happen, like it always does, in the Wedge, at 7ish, and our faithful President was all sad that you people still need to be told that.

Sunday MST3K didn't run last week because Mark needed some sleep, but it will run this week with Final Justice, Hamlet, and It Lives By Night.

Status of Tuesday TuTuTuB unknown. Watch for an email to the list.

This Week Only:

This Friday as part of Quadfest, the SFS is sponsoring a Nerf gun fight. It will be either on the Quad or in the Odeum, depending on weather. Nerf guns will be available for borrowing -- 36 of them, with 446 darts. Please, don't let your own dissgruntlement with Quadfest prevent you from participating.

Also this Friday, not our event, but OKGO is playing at 8 in Harrington, tickets still on sale.

(At this point Kate picked up the slack of the poor excuse for an interim secretary and began crossing off items)

Saturday: Shadowrun one-shot, 1-5ish, Campus Center Peterson Room. There are 1-2 slots open, no experience required. Email JR for more information.

This Sunday, 2pm, 3rd floor of the Campus Center (War Room)! A Blokus Tournament! Come play Blokus to win exciting prizes such as... more Blokus! We assure you this event will be much more exciting that MST3K.

Miscellaneous Items:

Kate is moving! She was trying to get rid of KareKano VHS, which Jon took, and the first Game of Thrones book, which Chrisco took. She's still looking to unload the first Honor Harrington novel.

Rich wants to run Order of the Stick, this or next Saturday. He has drug paraphernalia? And comic books? Watch for an email to the list.

Chaos was then descended into.

In honor of National Library Week, the SFS Library had waived all late fees.
