September 19, 2007 - Grand Mutiny!

Gar har har!  Tonight, I, your beloved Secretary, have committed grand mutiny against my former captain, his first mate, and his coin-chequer with the help of my two first mates, the book-reader-word-people folk.  Therefore I, the illustrious Captain Breadbeard, commandeered the meeting.  If ye wish to see the former captain's last words before he was struck down, ye may observe them hence: http://users.wpi.edu/~jonadler/sfs/sfs003.mov . For those of you who missed this glorious vie for power, here is what occurred at the meeting at which we were.

Friday Gaming will commence as previously it had, Friday night in the Campus Center on its third floor.  Games and fun will be had, if'n ye want not to be walking the plank.

Saturday, Sam LaFish will be collecting people who are interested in Magick to go to Rising Phoenix Games for a "gold tier tourney".  I be unknowing of such terminology, suffice to say it is a $25-30 entry sealed-deck tournament, with rather immense prizes, regardless of placement.  The winner receives a box of Lorwyn.  Ye be wanting to meet at the Campus Center at 3:30 if ye wish to partake.

Sunday, there be a $15 draft, with the same prize pool, also gold tier, at Pandemonium Books & Games in Boston, but be prepared to awake early, for at 7:30 in the morning must ye depart.  This is a tentative journey, email shl@wpi.edu if interested.

First Mate Robyn is STILL trying to get rid of a computator, which has no hard drive included.  Chris likes details.  If ye be wanting a computationator, betoss an email towards rcolopy@wpi.edu.

Miss Joanna's book drive of bountiful booty is continuing on and such into the far distant date of October the 2nd.  Give her books that be of gentle-use, would you kindly?

Capt. Sutman of the Gamedev Claw be wishing to garner interest in a TUB of Red Dwarf.  If ye be interested, email him at esutman@wpi.edu.
