The WPI SFS exists "to provide entertainment for the campus through the promotion of interest in science fiction and related genres." Our interests range across geekdom from sci-fi books and movies, comics, and anime to video games, tabletop roleplaying games, collectible card games, and board games of all description. We maintain a library of over 1500 books, games, and magazines; the library is open to all members.

All of our events are open to the WPI community. Major annual and semiannual events include Animefest in B term and Gaming Weekend in A and D terms. You can find out about smaller events at our weekly meetings, which are on Wednesdays at 7:12 PM in Goddard 227.

Membership dues are $5 for one academic year. This gets you access to the SFS library, free pizza at Gaming Weekends, and a membership card you can show off to your friends.
