WPI System
Dynamics Club (that's us!)
System Dynamics is an
exciting field that builds and uses computer
simulations to solve dynamic problems -- problems
that change over time. It is used in a variety of
fields, from business, environmental, medical, to
social systems. One example in business is
creation of flight simulators for managers so
managers can "test fly" their skills
before actually running a company.
WPI System Dynamics Club brings events related to
System Dynamics and other fun events to the
community of WPI and Worcester college
Consortium. Those events include lectures, heated
discussions, games such as the "Beer
Game" (we will be having a beer game later
this year), and things we all enjoy, including
trips, picnics, dances etc. We are organizing two
great events this fall, a tango dance and viewing
of video-taped seminars by Jay Forrester and you
are invited to them.Web:

Instructors: Caleb
Marcus & Ting Chin
Caleb and Ting have moved
from Seattle where they are considered to be one
of the best emerging professional couples. They
have been to Argentina twice for intensive
training. While in Buenos Aires they studied with
many of the most talented tango dancers and were
interviewed by B.A. Tango, one of the two
foremost tango magazines. They are currently
teaching and performing in Boston
Young and passionate they dance
from the heart, emitting a beauty few dancers
have. Their dance combines the intimacy of the
close embrace with the freedom and inventiveness
of the open style. They have used their
experience to create something which is uniquely
their own, an elegant, versatile dance which is
dynamic and powerful.
They teach weekly Argentine
tango lessons on Mondays:
Intermediate from 7:00-8:15pm
Advanced from 8:30-9:45pm
Where: First Baptist Church, 5 Magazine St.,
Central Sq., Cambridge, MA
