General Information
The Student Alumni Society (SAS) strives to develop within the student body an awareness of the significance of the undergraduate as a member of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute legacy. The society helps to cultivate leadership, interest and enthusiasm for future generations of alumni, which will result in a stronger more unified alumni body. SAS is proud to promote the long-standing history and tradition of WPI.
SAS is a member of the Association of Student Advancement Programs (ASAP), a division of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). The Student Alumni Society sends members to the ASAP District 1 Conference each spring to represent WPI. There is also an ASAP International Conference each summer.
Want to meet and network with alumni? The Chair of the Student Alumni Society is a member of the WPI Alumni Association's Cabinet. SAS partners with the Alumni Association and Alumni Office to assist in alumni programming including Homecoming and Reunion.

Meetings
SAS meetings are a great way to learn some interesting facts about WPI while meeting new people and having fun. Of course there is some work that needs
to be done such as planning events and finding people to help out, but there is definitely a lot of fun too. Every meeting involves doing something fun,
usually playing games or doing crazy activities. This helps us to get to know each other better. Every meeting is a chance to meet someone new or learn
something about someone that you didn't know before. Meetings are typically held at 5 p.m. each Wednesday in the Higgins House Library; check our calendar of events for exact dates and times. Everyone is welcome!
