DBIA New England Chapter Announces Proposed 2007 Board of
Directors Slate 
Boston, MA - December 19, 2006 - This notification is to
annouce our candidate slate for the DBIA 2007 Board of Directors. At
this time, we are expanding our search to the exisiting membership
to fill the crucial slot of Third Vice President. We will be
accepting nominations up until January 12th.

These nominations have been reviewed and approved by the current
board for voting at the DBIA New England Chapter Annual Meeting on
January 16, 2006 at the Harpoon Brewery, Boston. We invite all
members to attend this annual meeting and to cast their vote.
Additionally, we have several openings available on our
Professional Liaison Committees. Donald Klema, AIA, of DiMella
Shaffer Associates will be serving as our Design Organizations
Liaison and Peter Smith, P.E. of Weston & Sampson will be
serving as our Sponsorship Committee Chair. The other positions we
have open are:
- Academic Council Liaison
- Construction Organizations Liaison
- Legal Organizations Liaison
Although the Professional Organization Liaisons are not voting
members of the DBIA board, they play a critical role in expanding DB
initiatives and best practices. If you are looking to get more
involved in the DBIA without a full board commitment, then one of
