A 'must attend' for anyone in
Design-Build:
This
course focuses on applying effective
contracting language as well as
insurance, bonding, surety products and
the strategies needed to successfully execute
design-build project delivery. Key issues
relevant to public and private sector
owners and design-build entity
teams will be addressed, making this seminar
critical for anyone utilizing integrated project
delivery. Emphasis will be placed on
providing relevant legal, contracting, insurance
and risk management knowledge, along with
approaches for applying this knowledge to the evaluation
of your existing risk mitigation measures.

Course Presenter: Robynne Thaxton Parkinson
Robynne
Thaxton Parkinson is Of Counsel at Groff Murphy
Trachtenburg & Everard PLLC, a Seattle-based law
firm that specializes in representing clients in the
construction industry and provides a comprehensive array
of services to contractors, owners, engineers and
designers. She is also an adjunct professor at
Seattle University. Ms. Parkinson has represented
numerous owners, design builders and contractors in the
construction process from providing strategies in
approaching the process to contract negotiations through
disputes, alternative dispute resolution and
litigation. She also advises and represents a
variety of companies in labor and employment
matters.
