BIM (Building Information Modeling) is the hot new technology for the design of building projects, with features that make it especially effective for Design-Build project delivery.  If you are currently using, or considering using Design-Build, BIM could be your strategic partner.

This Educational Forum features a new perspective on BIM -- it addresses more than what BIM is and how it works -- it also explores forward-looking thinking on its impact on the business end of the project.

Our forum will be held on June 6th at the UMass Club in downtown Boston.  We will start the evening with an opportunity for networking and a light buffet supper.  Then you will be engaged in a provocative panel presentation, followed by a dynamic open-forum discussion.
PANEL PRESENTERS:

MODERATOR:  Joanne Linowes, President,  Linowes Executive Development , Inc.

  • Eric Westergren, Senior Consultant, A/E/C Strategy Inc.
  • Brett Gough, Partner, Ames & Gough
  • John McDonnell, Esq., Of Counsel, Donovan Hatem LLP
  • Jeff Cugno, Esq., Director of Development Services, O & G Industries

Eric Westergren of A/E/C Strategy will start off the evening discussing all aspects of BIM technology and applications.  Brett Gough of Ames and Gough will show how to identify and mitigate risks before they become complex problems.  John McDonnell of Donovan Hatem will discuss how to protect yourself from potential liabilities using BIM.  Jeff Cugno of O & G Industries will present how to market Design-Build services using BIM as a selling point.
