I'm Rui and I'm a junior
at the Mass Academy of Math and Science

Before coming to Mass Academy I attended Westborough High School for 5 months. I moved to the U.S. in January this year. Before that, I used to go to an all girls private school in Tokyo. I miss my friends, but the people at Mass Academy are all very nice :). On the weekends, I hang out with my Westborough friends as much as possible!

My hobby is hip hop dancing. When I was in Japan, I had practice 3 hours a day, 4 days a week, all year round. The 14 members of our team have been dancing together for 4 years now. Although I had to leave, I still keep in touch with them. Now, I am on the Senior Hip Hop Team at The Dance Academy in Newton. Every Monday we practice for our up coming competition in June!
