Humanities is taught by Mr. Ludt. The course is more or less the combination of History and English. It involves both writing essays, as well as reading historical texts such as the Iliad.

In addition to reading assignments and essays, Humanities also includes the weekly journal. Due every Tuesday, the Weekly Journal includes a half-page reflection, a "Grammar Patrol Report," which is a report of a grammatical error found in a publication or professional speech, and a list of 20 new vocabulary words mastered at number2.com.
