Welcome to my Website!
Hi! I am Rohan Gulati, a junior from Shrewsbury currently at Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science. I am not just defined by where I am from or the grades I received for that last physics test, but rather, by my daily actions. Everything I have experienced, and especially the people I have met along the way, has shaped me into who I am today. Each moment and challenge continues to develop and build me to who I am today.
Family is a big part of who I am. We love to hike, travel, and explore new places together along with simple walks around the neighborhood. Those small moments, such as laughing, talking, or just being together, are what matter most to me. They remind me that it’s not always about where we go, but about who I’m with. My family inspires me to be the best version of myself.
A special part of my family is my English Golden Retriever, Rustam. Dogs live only about an eighth of our lives, but to them, we are their whole world. Every day when I come back from school, I’m greeted with his excited, wagging tail and jumping joy. No matter what has happened that day, my dog is always happy, full of energy, and eager to spread that happiness to everyone around. I really admire that positivity, reminding me to appreciate the little things in my own life.
Singing has helped me build confidence and develop my ability to connect with an audience. Practicing regularly has improved not only my vocal skills, but my confidence. Whenever I meet with my cousins in India or my family friends, we always karaoke for hours on end. It is also especially useful for relieving stress after school.
