Math.

I don't like Mathematica. Geometer Sketchpad is fun, however. Recently, it's come to my attention that you can play music with Mathematica. This is done by assigning numbers to different pitches and setting the program to read the numbers at a certain rate. The length each number is read can also be adjusted for. This makes Mathematica better, but I still don't like it very much because it's put me though a bunch of grief. Anyway, enough whining.Below are some examples of work done in math class. Both of the focus are pdf files of Mathematica.

Basketball modelling
Our math class has a focus on modeling. This is an example of modeling and interpreting data. The specific data is points scored in terms of minutes played for the Chicago Bulls. It includes lines of best fit, box-and-whisker plots, and residual values.

Pow #3
We're occasionally given open ended math problems to solve. This one revolved around the maximum necessary color of gumballs needed in order to give one of the same color to any number of kids, given a number of gumballs colors and children.

Shuttling Around
This is another instance of a POW. Specifically, it's a sequel. I didn't enjoy it.

Transformations
This is an example of our work detailing the tool box functions and various transformations of them.

Some Mathematica Work
This is exactly what it says. It's just some work we did in Mathematica.
