Mr. Ludt rants about dogs. Steve takes twenty-five damage and becomes confused! Steve hurts himself in his confusion! He takes ten damage! If that didn't make any sense to you, congratulations. Also, you all lose the game. What game you ask? The game's rules, summarized by me, are as follows: "Everyone is playing the game." "When you learn or remember that you are playing the game, you lose the game." "When you lose the game, you must announce it to those around you." "When you forget you are playing the game, you begin playing again." "You cannot win the game." Now that you've been infected with the meme that is The Game, I should probably get around to showing you some examples of my work in humanities. Hum 10 weekly journal Every week, we right a journal. It’s mostly just a reflection and can be on a wide variety of things. The journal includes an abstract, an example of bad grammar, and a list of vocabulary. The abstract can be on just about anything - I’m especially fond of SOC rants. I usually take the grammar error from the New York Times. The vocabulary is from www.number2.com, the website Mr. Ludt wants us to use for vocabularic expansion. Nibelungenlied, Roland, and Beowulf This is an example of the essays we write in humanities. Typically, he'll give us a fairly open-ended topic and we write a rough draft. He goes over the rough draft, we find our mistakes and then we magically improve as writers. The essay discusses the relevence of magic and religion in epic tales and how the supernatural improves stories. An Essay about the Male Brain This is another essay. It describes the viewpoint of an author as he discusses the male brain and female heart. It specifically focuses on how the author uses literary elements such as tone and mood to promote gender bias. Richard The Third This is an essay about how the nobles in Richard the Third lacked backbones and allowed Richard to come to power. By all means, try it. He's a pretty amusing guy to write about. Vocabulary This is just some vocabulary in our text book. We don't really use it that much. We certainly didn't have many installations of this.
