Elastic Collision Simulator |

|
Two objects collide and move according to the physics equations that define elastic collisions is mirrored by this simulator. Momentum is defined by the equation: P=m1v1 Where m1 is the mass of the object and v1 is the velocity of the object. Movement of the objects in the simulation is defined in two distinct areas. Before the collision occurs, the objects travel with the initial velocities entered by the user. These values range between 0 and 25 m/s. Once the two objects collide, the resulting movement is defined by two equations, where vi1 and vi2 are initial velocities, vf1 and vf2 are the final velocities, and m1 and m2 are the masses of the objects entered by the user. The values of the masses range from 500 grams to 2000 grams. |
