PROJECT ADVISING (MQPs and IQPs)

For outside visitors to my webpage: At WPI, every student is required to complete two substantial projects before graduating. One of them, known as the Major Qualifying Project (MQP) and typically done in the senior year, is like a senior thesis. The other, known as the Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) and typically done in the junior year, deals with some aspect of the impact of science and technology upon society; however this brief characterization does not adequately capture the wide variety of IQPs that have been done over the years. To learn more about the Projects Program at WPI follow the link Projects
