I have a lot of interests in and out of school. Out of school I’m part of Team 467. It’s a FIRST robotics team of Shrewsbury High school that I’m proud to be a part of. I’ve been on the team since 7th grade when I did Lego robotics and then joined the FRC team in my freshmen year of High school. Even though I’m not in Shrewsbury any more they’re still allowing me join the team instead of becoming a 190 which is the Mass. Academy team.

A hobby that I pursue, when I have the time, includes playing my instruments. Since I was 6 years old I began playing the piano. I used to dislike playing the piano and unwillingly sat through my lessons, but now I’m glad that I went through the pain. My repertoire now includes a multitude of partially memorized songs (something I’m still working on) that include: the Maple Leaf Rag, the Entertainer, the Charlie Brown theme song, Heart and soul, Fur Elise, and some others. My personal favorite is a song by Yiruma called River Flows in You. Look it up. I also play the calrinet and Tenor saxaphone. With these two instruments I was part of the Shrewsbury High school jazz band a great performing group that was a hard choice in leaving my sending school.

| Here is video of the Shrewsbury High school Jazz band a few years ago. This was before my time in the band but its the only video that I could find online and it'll give you a taste on what we play and what kind of Band it is. |
Some sports that I did include Winter Track and Crew. I used to be part of the Shrewsbury Crew Team and rowed in 8s and occasionally in 4s. I was part of varsity for the past 4 seasons (a season is in the fall or spring so there are two seasons each year) and leaving the team was one of the hardest decisions that I ever made. Fortunately if my schedule works out next year I might be able to join the team for my senior year, which would be the greatest way for me to finish my high school career. (*note* the picture isn't my team, and you can tell they're not that great as an oar is complelty out of the water during the drive....)

Although I’m not much of a gamer and prefer to spend times outside playing Ultimate Frisbee I did enjoy playing puzzle games. A great game is Portal by Valve. I got it for free when they were handing it out and so decided to find out what all the hype was about. It’s a good game, great challenges and music at the end too. Here’s the video, I really like the song (don’t ask me why…): *Note: the singer is GLaDoS a robot in the game.
