Hi my name is Nora Murphy and I go to Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science. I am currently taking the classes: Math, Computer Science, Spanish, Physics, Humanities, Science and Technical Writing, and STEM (a science fair project class). I have lived in Leicester all my life and last year I went to Leicester High School. Mass Academy is for sure a change from Leicester but I like it a lot so far. It is challenging, not impossible.
Other than school my main interests are sports. I play field hockey and softball for Leicester. Yes it is doable to play sports and still get your work done.I really love field hockey; I play midfield and it is by far my favorite sport. We are not very good but I still have a lot of fun with the team.Softball is a close second in my heart. We work hard together and last year we were district champions.
In the small amount of free time I have between schools and sports I mainly just like to hang out with my friends and relax. I like to spend time with my family, consisting of my parents and two brothers. I am generally a carefree person who just goes with the flow. Right now I am in the process of getting my driver's license so that also takes up a portion of my time. Just like all Mass Academy students I have a lot going on but we get it all done and have a good time doing it.
