My CS (computer science) project was to create this webstite. The class is taught by Ms. Lang, who knows a lot about computers and such. We have already learned about binary code, octal code, and hexadecimal code. We used html to create our sites. Oh we also do scheme labs every day. My personal growth in CS was probably more than in any other class this year. I came into the year not knowing anything about computer science or coding, and now I have made two games from scratch. A creative piece is this website woo-hoo. My favorite lab and the lab I am most proud of this game I made. It is a shooter game with a shooter and a UFO. The goal is to shoot the UFO before it reaches the bottom. It was challenging to make but I did it! And it is a fun game to play. UFO GAME
My least favorite lab and the lab I still don't understand is the picture lab where we used overlay-x/y. It involved placing images at different spots to create new images with the original incorporated. In other words, the original picture were placed on top of each other, and in a sqaure with each in opposite corners. I could not get the hang of overlay-xy, which made this lab frustrating.
