I enjoy working on many different types of personal projects, especially construction projects. The picture at right shows one type of catapult I am working on, a ballista. One other project I worked on over the summer was a very simple solar furnace.
I have other sorts of projects as well. I have a microscope, and I've tried a few simple studies of microscopic organisms. I've done things with insects, model airplanes, gliders, helicopters, rockets, parachutes, and many others.
