French at Mass Academy is taught by Mrs. Nasrani-Wildfong. We are required to speak only French or get a flying monkey shot at our heads. We just finished reading Beauty and the Beast in French so we wrote our own fairy tales that turned out very interesting. French class is a fun yet hard class because it is a total immersion class. We made a powerpoint presentation of our own fairy tale that we wrote. After finishing Beauty and the Beast, we wrote an essay about the differences between the original movie and the book. After Beauty and the Beast, we read Les Miserables. We wrote a summary of the story told from the perspective of one of the characters. Each student in my French class researched the history of the time of Les Miserables. I looked into Napoleon, focusing on his life outside of the military. The main project for the year was our French film. Our Movie was the story of Harry Potter if he was a student at Mass Academy.
