Mr. Barys teaches math here at Mass Academy,he loves macs.Beware, he will throw sandals at you!
Much of the work in Mr. Barys' class is done in Mathematica, each week we do a problem of the week in which we model situations with various outcomes like this Problem. We also do problems where we are presented with a problem in which we have to create our own assumptions like this.
In the second half of the school year, math has really began to pick up the pace as well as get increasingly fun. Here are a few examples of work that we have done: First, we have done an extensive amount of work with the transformations of functions. We have also created models for situations related to physics and similar topics. Another example of not-so-science related topics would be this but a few of the problems still could be considered scientific
