Hullo there!
So, still Maggie, still a Mass Acad nerd, if this is gonna bore you then you'd better leave now because it's just going to get more
in-depth. I'm really into FIRST robotics (and any other kind, really) and hail from team 1100. I'd link to their webpage, but it's down. I know
this because I'm their webmaster. I should probably fix that.
The new FIRST robotics game has been announced! Build season has begun! I'm not going to sleep again until February!!!
Check out the game! Ain't it great? Since we're now two days into build season (gasp!), I
figured I needed to kick into gear and set up the website. So I made a purdy page for myself. It's not quite done, and right now
it's full of random filler text from 1984 because I don't like writing actual content, but you can see it if you want.
Mass Academy has a team, too. They're 190.
Team 190, quite frankly, scares me a little. Other things I enjoy are debate, (I've got a debate.com account.
They used to be awful but it looks like they've cleaned up their act quite a lot since I've last been there, so I suppose I'd reccomend it.) Other things I do are 4H and if you ask what 4H is, I will probably tell you explain
that it's like boyscouts, but more agricultural. If I tell you this, I probably just want to get rid of you, because it's nothing like boy scouts. 4H is really agricultural,
and if you really want to get familiar with it, you really only have to do is go west or talk to one of the exhibitors at a county fair or something. But anyhow, it's a club that centers around raising farm animals, usually. I've seen plenty of
other 4H groups, though. We've got everything from rabbits to robotics in these clubs. It's all quite fun. The picture you're looking at is me at our fundraiser. If you feel sorry
for me, don't. You've obviously never worn a mascot suit in public. It's way more fun than you'd think as long as no one important recognizes you.
