How can math teachers use E-tutor?

E-tutor uses tutorial dialogs, or a series of interactions between the tutor and student, to teach equation-solving skills in an intelligent tutor system (ITS). Several researchers have developed ITS that incorporate tutorial dialog and preliminary results are promising in a some domains. One example is the award winning Ms. Lindquist, which uses tutorial dialog to tutor students in writing expressions for algebra word problems.

If you are a math teacher and you would like to use E-tutor with your students,
you can email Leena Razzaq   to get started. I can help set up E-tutor
in your class and collect student log files at the end.
