Students will be paired for programming labs and some projects. Each student will work with a classmate (or two) to work through the given lab. Within each group, one student is 'in control' of the keyboard and will do all typing. The other group member(s) will watch, advise, and assist the person who is typing. Every 15 minutes, group members will swap positions so the other group members(s) have a turn at the keyboard. The purpose of the groups is to collaborate on working through the lab. All members of the group should be engaged in the task the entire time, not just when they are at the keyboard.
