In STW, taught by Dr. Sumner, we are learning how to write like proper scientists, especially for our STREAM literature reviews. One assignment we have done was the fall nature writing assignment. The assignment was to find a place in nature and write about our observations made while there. Another piece we have completed is a scientific methodology for toasting a bagel. As a class, we are compiling a book of experiments for elementary age students. Each student had to bring in an experiment to do, then write up both the scientific methodology and the kid-friendly page for the book, found here. We are currently working on expository essays in preparation for short lectures before the break.I am doing mine on Schrödinger's Cat, a famous thought experiment of quantum mechanics.
